Here are some fun facts about the harp seals that i would like to share with all of you. After seeing these, you will know how amazing they are and we should help to protect these amazing animals!


1. Don't try to have a hold your breath competition with them! 
    BECAUSE they can hold their breath for 16 minutes!!


2. Don't think of winning them in a diving competition!
    BECAUSE they can dive to a depth of 280 meters!!


3. Don't compare your speed with them!
    BECAUSE they are the fastest swimmers!!


4. Don't compare your endurance with theirs!
    BECAUSE when they migrate, they can cover distances of between 6000-8000 km in a year!!


so...STOP killing. SAVE them. Love HARP SEALS!

Polar Bears

Polar Bears

Do you know that polar bear yellows with age?

Facts:
1. Adult males generally weigh between 363 and 771 kg. Able to grow to 3m length.
2. Adult females often weigh between 227 and 272 kg.
3. Ability to swim 161 km at a stretch.
4. Paw pads with rough surfaces help prevent them from slipping up on the ice.
5. They swim using their large front paws to propel themselves through the water and their back legs to steer.
6. Due to the melting of arctic sea ice, they have difficulty swimming to safety and some have drowned..


Under Circumpolar* Protection, court appearance is neccessary if one has to shoot a polar bear in self defense.
*Circumpolar: Located or found in one of the Polar region.
